Connect through your MNSP
Connect through a Paysafe UTM MNSP
Identify the PDI-managed Cradlepoint or Meraki model and prepare only the provider-approved backoffice connection.
Purpose
Use this guide to identify the Paysafe/PDI box, connect the approved Windows computer, and check the store’s exact POS address. These locations may use Cradlepoint or Meraki hardware, and their ports are not interchangeable.
Before you start
- Approved Windows computer with Ethernet or a compatible adapter
- Safely routed Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable
- Unmanaged switch only when Paysafe/PDI approves it
- Photos of the front, rear, model label, and existing cables
- Exact provider-approved port and store-specific network facts
1. Confirm the exact model
The source includes Cradlepoint and Meraki views. Use them for recognition, then confirm the exact model with Paysafe/PDI.

The source used port 1 on its Cradlepoint model and port 9 on its Meraki model. Treat those as examples, not universal rules. Ask Paysafe/PDI to confirm the backoffice port for the exact device and site.
2. Connect the cable
Connect only after Paysafe/PDI confirms the model and port. If the port is occupied, leave its cable in place and ask whether a switch is allowed.
What connects to what
- The approved Windows computer connects to the Ethernet cable, directly or through its compatible adapter.
- That cable connects to the exact Paysafe/PDI-confirmed port for the identified Cradlepoint or Meraki model.
- If Paysafe/PDI approves a switch, the confirmed port feeds the switch and only approved devices connect to it.
- All other POS, payment, and fuel-network cables stay where they are. Instructions for one hardware family never carry over to the other.
3. Check the POS connection
Choose only the POS type confirmed for this store. Do not try both.
Verifone Commander
This check applies only to a Verifone register served by Commander. Open the standard https://192.168.31.11/ConfigClient.html address or the exact reviewed store-specific ConfigClient address.

Gilbarco Passport
Open the standard \\10.5.48.2 address or the exact reviewed store-specific Passport address in File Explorer.

If the exact address fails, stop and return to Paysafe/PDI or Advantage support with the model photos and reviewed facts. Do not switch between Cradlepoint and Meraki instructions or try other addresses.
What success means
Seeing Control Center or XMLGateway proves only that the computer can reach the POS connection. It does not prove that the Agent is installed, fresh data is flowing, Shift Console is activated, or register writes are ready.
What Advantage support handles
When provider-specific Windows settings are required, authorized Advantage support applies only reviewed Paysafe/PDI-approved facts for the confirmed model. Customers are not asked to use a shell, run probes or scans, or guess network values. Support preserves the computer’s current network state, validates only the declared POS endpoint, and restores the prior state if validation fails. Support does not reconfigure the managed appliance.
